JR Construction was started in 2011 by James Albert-Worman and Richard Pike who had a vision to create a dynamic and fresh construction company with an old school approach to construction – reliable service and high-quality renovations.
We use the very best, fully-certified tradesmen who have extensive experience in all types of building construction and renovations, so that we can manage and lead on your project from start to finish; with a dependable, experienced team of designers, bricklayers, electricians, plumbers, roofers, carpenters and plasterers.
We pride ourselves on our uncompromising vision, offering a high-quality and cost-effective service that comes with a personal touch.
James Albert-Worman – Director
With over 15 years experience in the building industry, James first started out as a carpentry apprentice working on building sites.
After completing his apprenticeship, he worked for a Norfolk based firm specialising in barn conversions. During this time, James gained a Level 3 NVQ in Carpentry & Joinery, developing his skills working alongside different trades on the barn conversions alongside Richard, a fellow carpenter.
Having worked together for a number of years, James and Richard established JR Construction; working weekends and nights together around the normal day job, and generating their own client base.
Richard Pike – Director
With over 12 years experience working in the building industry, Richard started out labouring for a barn conversion company.
After a while, his passion for learning a trade, especially carpentry, had grown and he began his apprenticeship. Gaining a level 3 NVQ in Carpentry & Joinery, Richard then worked not only within the carpentry sector, but alongside other tradesmen, learning a variety of skills within the building trade.
Over the last few years James and Richard have seen their company grow rapidly; JR Construction has a number of tradesmen as part of the team, who they have worked with for many years – a team that they can trust and rely on.
